Walk Away 02:37
I see your smile and I read your face If I stay, what do I say? For the first time I felt right The air between us disappeared I’m hoping you’ll look at me ‘Cause you’re all I see It’s getting later and Time is running out People walk on by You’re the only one I see Should I walk away? Or should I stay? I stare at the sky Wonder if you’re with another guy You don’t see me I let you walk on by

Undeserving 02:55
Some people work for what they earn while others just get what they want Giving them respect for no good reason Using their rep on the dollar front No one can realize or even react Except for the people who build up their stacks The ones who put in the hard time Will slowly become victims of the crime I have a hard time believing The world that we live in Is so-o-o deceiving so-o-o deceiving The high class is lying While I'm left here dying You're hardly even working You're so...undeserving You know I'm not lyin cause I speak the truth I'm giving out knowledge like a ticket booth People have money, the gift that keeps on givin I ain't dyin but this certainly ain't liven People are running each and every way While the homeless are have trouble finding a place to stay It's not about the money or gettin the fame Anyone that don't help ought to be ashamed So if you think the world needs changin for you to be superior You need to go by yourself and take a look in the mirror I have a hard time believing The world that we live in Is so-o-o deceiving so-o-o deceiving The high class is lying While I'm left here dying You're hardly even working You're so...undeserving I was struggling, trying to be the best, Comparing myself, to all of the rest Putting pressure on myself to do well for this town We can start a revolution, turn it all around It doesn't really matter what they wanted from me Cuz "Me" is the only person I can ever be I was trying so hard to believe it But so angry, that I couldn't see it I have a hard time believing The world that we live in Is so-o-o deceiving so-o-o deceiving The high class is lying While I'm left here dying You're hardly even working You're so...undeserving

It’s hard to remember those days Looking back now is a blur Those faces all blend together And I know my thoughts have changed I started looking at the sky Those stars that shine so brightly have opened up my eyes Even if my old ghosts start to haunt I can become anyone I want This merry-go-round routine just isn’t me Back then when I wasn’t afraid and I wasn’t in so much pain There was no fear of putting myself back together But now I can’t look anymore You see, my mirror is cracked Back then I had love to spare, now it’s the thing I lack It’s been weighing down like an anchor All the shame and terror, building up like a wall All the pain that I’ve dealt And the love that I’ve felt I’m so much better than it all

Sometimes I feel like my life’s moving faster than I can Sometimes I feel like my feet just move faster than I ran Yesterday’s a blur cause my minds stuck in tomorrow today There’s nothing I can do I’m lost without a clue But sometimes I try to take a moment But life will always move too fast We never stop to take a breath it never feels like we can Life just keeps on moving on repeating the same plan My life will never change it will always stay the same

We were like family We were one in the same And we grew apart, grew apart Stuck at the crossroads, we couldn't agree We're torn apart, Torn Apart When times are rough, we don't give up, we find ways to keep moving. We are there for each other, until the end Like Sisters and brothers We'll make amends And through it all Yeah we're still friends We share, we love, we fall I'll pick you back up. Mending up the open seams, Trying to believe, that this is all a dream, all a dream don't know where we will pick up, it seems like we are stuck, In a never ending loop, When times are rough, we don't give up, we find ways to keep moving, We are there for each other, until the end Like Sisters and brothers We'll make amends And through it all Yeah we're still friends We share, we love, we fall I'll pick you back up. We keep trying and trying and trying, to get back up, we do it again, and again, and again, When times are rough, we don't give up, we find ways to keep moving. We are there for each other, until the end Like Sisters and brothers We'll make amends And through it all Yeah we're still friends We share, we love, we fall I'll pick you back up. lyrics We were like family We were one in the same And we grew apart, grew apart Stuck at the crossroads, we couldn't agree We're torn apart, Torn Apart When times are rough, we don't give up, we find ways to keep moving. Life was a warm sunny day Til' you left and it turned to gray You said I could stay But it was not OK Kidnapped soul and I'm losing control I can't stop running 'Cause you’re eating me whole When I first heard your voice I was sold you pure solid gold It feels so low but this time it won't be so!

about

Chronologia was created in 2015 through a
collaboration between The Dick & Jane Project
and 8th grade choir students at Columbus Academy.
The students split into six teams and each partnered
with a Dick & Jane music producer, working together
for two weeks to create the lyrics and the musical
framework for a song. The following month each song
was recorded by professional musicians, vocalists,
and engineers throughout Columbus, Ohio.
